Level 1 Basic Fire Safety
Learners gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognize their contribution in the prevention of fires and it’s spread.
Target Audience
This qualification is aimed at all staff, particularly new starters, in any workplace where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.
Course Duration
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 0.5 days (4 hours) of learning.
Learning Outcomes
Successful learners will be able to:
- Understand basic fire safety in the workplace
- Understand the principles of prevention and control of fire in the workplace
- Understand actions to be taken in the event of a fire
Assessment Methodology
The qualification is assessed by multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination.
